South Carolina Limited Building Contractor – Book Rental Package

This book rental package is geared toward candidates preparing for the South Carolina Contractors Licensing Board’s Limited Building Contractor trade exam and the Business Management & Law exam. The rental includes a set of pre-tabbed and highlighted required reference books, six months of access to an online self-study course covering both the trade and business/law topics, plus use of the books during the rental period (with a refundable deposit if returned in good condition). The reference materials include titles such as the NASCLA Contractors Guide to Business, Law and Project Management – South Carolina Commercial Contractors, 9th Edition, the International Building Code, 2021 Edition, Code of Federal Regulations – 29 CFR Part 1926 (OSHA), and key trade-texts on concrete, masonry, carpentry, roofing, pipe & excavation contracting, and the South Carolina 811 Excavator Manual. Students receive instruction on how to navigate the open-book format, access the study modules for six months, and must return the materials within the rental term to obtain the full deposit refund.
