A-19 PSI Swimming Pools, Including Solar (Commercial) and B-6 General Swimming Pool Contractor, Including Solar (Residential)

This preparation package is aligned with the PSI Services LLC exam for the Arizona trade classifications A-19 (Swimming Pools, Including Solar – Commercial) and B-6 (General Swimming Pool Contractor, Including Solar – Residential). The scope of work for A-19 covers construction, service and repair of swimming pools and spas with or without solar water-heating devices, including water & gas service lines to pool equipment, wiring from pool equipment to first accessible disconnect, pool piping, fittings, backflow prevention, waste lines and other integral parts, plus accessories, covers, safety devices and fencing if specified. The B-6 classification allows the scope permitted under B-5 plus the inclusion of solar heating devices. The exam is comprised of 50 questions over 120 minutes for the trade test and 30 questions in 75 minutes for the solar portion; the passing score for each is 70%. The reference-list used was documented in the exam bulletin published by PSI.
